Ukraine imported 78k tons of palm oil in Sep-Nov 2017

In the season 2017/18 (September-November), Ukraine imported the maximum amount of palm oil in the last seven seasons — about 78 thousand tons, which is 43.7% more compared to the same period last season (54.6 thousand tons), reports UkrAgroConsult.

"In November 2017, palm oil imports to Ukraine amounted to 28.8 thousand tons, which is 88% more compared to the previous month (15.3 thousand tons) and 51.6% compared to November last year," the message writes.

The geography of palm oil imports to Ukraine continues to change, which is characteristic for the beginning of the current season. So, Indonesia further increases its supplies and delivers 74% of all Ukrainian imports. Malaysia (6%), on the contrary, reduced its export and gave way to the new player — Honduras (15%).
