Wheat flour export increased 20% in 2017

Export of wheat flour from Ukraine in 2017 amounted to 443.29 thousand tons, which is 20.15% more than in 2016.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine reports that the main importers of Ukrainian wheat flour in the reporting period are China (USD 23.22 million), Angola (USD 10.44 million) and Moldova (USD 7.95 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 93.13 thousand tons, 47.83 thousand tons and 36.44 thousand tons, respectively.

Over the reporting period Ukraine exported 1.48 thousand tons of flour of other types worth of USD 857 thousand. Flour was delivered to Croatia (USD 304,000), Poland (USD 147,000) and Moldova (USD 96,000).

Reference: in January-November 2017, production of wheat and wheat-rye flour in Ukraine decreased 0.5% to 1.69 million tons.
