Export of potato from Ukraine in 2017 reached 17.6k tons

In 2017, Ukraine exported 17.59 thousand tons of potatoes for the amount of USD 3.44 million.
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine reports that the main importers of potatoes were Belarus (USD 2.59 million), Moldova (USD 511 thousand) and Azerbaijan (USD 242 thousand). Exports to these countries amounted to 13.27 thousand tons, 2.61 thousand tons and 1.24 thousand tons, respectively.
The gross harvest of potatoes in 2017 amounted to 21.9 million tons, which exceeds the volume of 2016 by 0.5%.
