In Sept-Dec 1,2 MT of soy exported from Ukraine

In September-December of MY 2017/18, Ukraine exported 1.23 million tons of soybeans (-2.6% compared to the same period of MY 2016/17), which remains the second indicator close to the record of the previous season (1.26 million tons).

UkrAgroConsult informs that in December 2017 soybean exports from Ukraine amounted to 425,1 thousand tons, which is 18,6% lower than the previous month (522,3 thousand tons).

"The current season continues to show an increase in export shipments of Ukrainian soybeans almost twice in the direction of European countries (34% of total exports) and Egypt (14%). Also, there is an increase in exports to Turkey (26%) and Belarus (7%)," the report says.

Reference: Ukraine in 2017 exported 2.87 million tons of soybeans, which is 130.89 thousand tons more than the indicator of 2016.
