Cygnet processed a record 232.5k tons of sugar beet

Cygnet Agrocompany's sugar plant processed this season a record amount of sugar beet — 232.5 thousand tons.

"This was possible due to the modernization of equipment that was carried out before the beginning of the season, in which USD 2.7 million were invested," the company notes.

During the season, the plant produced 33.3 thousand tons of sugar, which is 5.4% more than the previous year. The plant processes mainly its own raw materials, the share of tolling raw materials this year was 9.5%.
