MHP reconsidered the purchase of a poultry farm in Poland

Agro and industrial holding Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) abandoned plans to buy the Polish poultry farm Exdrob.

The Exdrob management says that on November 28, 2017 the plant received a letter in which Raftan Holding Ltd, which belongs to MHP, informed that it was refusing trade negotiations for commercial reasons.

The management of the plant reported that negotiations are currently under way with potential investors regarding the acquisition of all or part of the company's assets.

"Negotiations are conducted in 2 ways: by the management of the plant, and by the administrator of recovery procedures, which was appointed by the court," the message says.

Earlier it was reported that MHP intends to purchase the third plant in Europe for the production of meat semi-finished products.

Reference: in 2016 MHP launched a poultry processing plant in the Netherlands (USD 3.5 million investments). In 2017, the company in cooperation with a European distributor founded a meat processing plant in Slovakia (about USD 3 million investments).
