Installation of the first silo completed at Cargill terminal in Yuzhny

In the seaport of Yuzhny, the first silo tower was erected at the construction site of the grain terminal of the global commodity trader Cargill.

Ports of Ukraine inform that construction of the first of the fourteen towers is completed. The construction of one tower at the new Cargill and M.V. Cargo terminal takes from four to six weeks.

The installation of steel structures of the silo towers began in January 2018.

"The domes of the two future silos are already assembled and ready for mounting. The installation of the silo roof, in which grain will be stored, is the most laborious process. It takes about 70% of the total installation time," M.V. Cargo informed in Facebook.

Earlier it was reported that CEO of China Harbor Engineering Company (CHEC) in Ukraine Lin Tao and the Head of the Administration of the port of Yuzhny Maxim Shirokov signed the delivery-acceptance act of the performed dredging works in the water area of the port of Yuzhny at the berths No. 23-25, in the rear of which M.V. Cargo is building a grain terminal for Cargill.
