Export of grain from the beginning of 2017/18 amounts to 24.7 MT

Ukraine since the beginning of MY 2017/18, as of February 7, 2018, exported 24.7 million tons of grain, which is 2.26 million tons less than over the same period of 2016/17.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that wheat exports for the reporting period amounted to 12.51 million tons, which is 321 thousand tons less than over the same period last year.
From the beginning of 2017/18, Ukraine exported 3.97 million tons of barley (-558 thousand tons) and 8.13 million tons of corn (-1.3 million tons). Exports of rye amounted to 13.2 thousand tons.
Earlier it was reported that the seaports of Ukraine in January 2018 transshipped 3.14 million tons of grain, which is 79.35 thousand tons more than over the coppesponding period last year.
