In 2017 Ukraine increased raspberry exports by 72%

Last year Ukraine exported 1.24 thousand tons of raspberries and blackberries, which is 72% more than in 2016.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that in monetary terms export earnings of this category in 2017 totaled USD 0.94 million compared to USD 0.8 million in 2016.

The major importer of Ukrainian raspberries and blackberries is Poland — 961.3 tons were exported for the amount of USD 799.1 thousand. Among other importers are Belarus —  238.3 tons (USD 115.2 thousand), Romania — 32.6 tons (USD 11.8 thousand), Israel — 2.7 tons (USD 10.6 thousand), Estonia — 2.6 tons (USD 2.5 thousand) and Moldova — 0.5 tons (USD 0.3 thousand).

Reference: Ukraine in January 2018 exported 4.27 thousand tons of apples, pears and quinces worth of USD 1.23 million.
