Import of sunflower seeds in January got close to 3.7k tons

Ukraine in January 2018 imported 3.67 thou. tons of sunflower seeds for the amount of USD 35.48 mln.
According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the major suppliers of sunflower seeds in the reporting period were Turkey (USD 18.33 mln), the USA (USD 6.23 mln) and France (USD 5.3 mln). Deliveries from these countries to Ukraine amounted to 1.89 thou. tons, 0.64 thou. tons and 0.55 thou. tons, respectively.
Reference: in January, Ukraine exported 2.42 thou. tons of sunflower seeds for the amount of USD 1.11 million.
