Export of sunflower in January amounted to 2.4k tons

In January, Ukraine exported 2.42 thousand tons of sunflower seeds for the amount of USD 1.11 million.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine informs that the main importers of Ukrainian sunflower in the reporting period are Romania (USD 222,000), Germany (USD 162,000) and Serbia (USD 150,000). Exports to these countries amounted to 0.48 thousand tons, 0.35 thousand tons and 0.33 thousand tons, respectively.

Reference: in 2017, Ukraine exported 73.23 thousand tons of sunflower seeds worth of USD 29.73 million.
