Beef exports in Jan-Feb reached 5.3k tons

In January-February 2018, Ukraine exported 5.3 thou. tons of fresh and frozen beef, which is 0.43 thou. tons less than the corresponding indicator in 2017.

The State Fiscal Service (SFS) reports that Ukraine exported 1.8 thou. tons of fresh/chilled beef (January-February 2017: 1.72 thou. tons) and 3.5 thou. tons of frozen beef (January-February 2017: 4.05 thou. tons).

The main importer of fresh and chilled beef was Belarus (USD 5.1 million), which was delivered 1.79 tons (99.5% of the total).

Frozen beef was exported to Kazakhstan (USD 2.8 million), Azerbaijan (USD 2.5 million) and Belarus (USD 1.8 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 917 tons, 836 tons and 591 tons, respectively.
