Export of organic grains and oilseeds from Ukraine in 2017 reached EUR 42 mln

For the year 2017, the Ukrainian export of organic grains, oilseeds and products of processing increased by 10% in natural and 7% in value terms to 207 thou. tons or EUR 42 million, Agronews.ua informs.
As compared with 2015, deliveries of products to foreign markets increased by 80% and 59%, respectively.
The export volume of grains in 2017 is estimated at 66%. Ukrainian producers exported 22% of oilseed crops. In addition, Ukrainian companies exported organic cereals, flour, as well as sunflower oil and cake.
Earlier it was reported that the foreign trade turnover of agricultural products in January-February 2018 amounted to USD 3.7 billion, USD 2.8 billion of which accounted for the export of Ukrainian agrarian and food products.
