Exports of oilseeds from Ukraine increased by 1 MT

From the beginning of 2017/18, Ukraine exported 4.3 mln tons of oilseeds, which is 1 mln tons more than over the same period of 2016/17, the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumers Protection (SSUFSCP) reports.
Among the exported oilseed crops are:
- rapeseed — 2 mln tons (2016/17: 0.94 mln tons);
- soybean — 3.3 mln tons (2016/17: 2.4 mln tons).
According to Stepan Kapshuk, Director of UkrOliyaProm Association, the volume of sunflower oil exports in 2018 should decrease 10.18% to 5.3 mln tons (2017: 5.84 mln tons).
