Ukrainian sunflower oil export forecast decreased 3%

Export of sunflower oil from Ukraine in MY2017/18 is forecasted at the level of 5.15 million tons, which is 3 percent less than the previous forecast, APK-Inform writes.

This indicator is 12 percent below the record volume of deliveries to foreign markets last season (5.85 million tons).

Ukraine in September-April MY2017/18 exported 3.7 million tons of sunflower oil, which is 8% less than the exported volume over the corresponding period last season. Taking into account the updated forecast, the export potential is realized by 70%.

Experts note that the supply of sunflower oil in May-June MY2017/18 is estimated at 1.5 million tons.
