Sugar exports in Jan-Apr reached 206k tons

Ukraine in January-April 2018 exported 205.9 thou. tons of sugar for the amount of USD 82 million.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine reports that the main importers of Ukrainian sugar in January-April are Uzbekistan (USD 28.2 million), Turkey (USD 15.14 million) and Libya (USD 6.93 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 70.71 thou. tons, 38.01 thou. tons and 17.39 thou. tons, respectively.

Previously it was reported that prices for sugar had decreased by 25% to the lowest level in the last few years.

Note: Ukrainian sugar market in 2017 was dominated by 10 companies.
