Sunflower oil exports in Jan-Apr reached 2 MT

Export of sunflower oil from Ukraine in January-April 2018 amounted to 1.99 million tons. The exported produce is worth of USD 1.49 billion.

The State Fiscal Sevice of Ukraine (SFS) reports that the major importers of sunflower oil in the period are India (USD 744.6 million), the Netherlands (USD 98.21 million) and Iraq (USD 95.53 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 991.06 thou. tons, 130.67 thou. tons and 124.48 thou. tons, respectively.

Reference: export of sunflower oil from Ukraine in MY2017/18 is forecasted at the level of 5.15 million tons, which is 3 percent less than the previous forecast.
