Sunflower oil production in Sep-Apr reduced 11%

Over 8 months of MY2017/18 (September-April), sunflower processing totaled 9.5 million tons, while sunflower oil production amounted to 4.1 million tons, which is 11% less than the previous marketing year, APK-Inform reports.

In April 2018, Ukrainian enterprises processed 1.2 million tons of sunflower and produced 516 thou. tons of oil, which is 7% below last year's level.

The bulk volume is 73% of the forecast for the current season, which remains unchanged at 5.6 million tons.
