Agriculture proved the most profitable economic sector in 2017

In the year 2017, agriculture, forestry and fishing businesses achieved the highest profitability in terms of types of economic activity.
As of the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the profitability of agriculture, forestry and fisheries amounts to 22.7%.
The operating results of enterprises reached UAH 93.4 billion and operating costs — UAH 411.12 billion.
In 2016, the profitability of agriculture was estimated at 32.4%.
