Pea exports from Ukraine boosted 70%

Over eleven months of MY2017/18, pea exports from Ukraine amounted to 794.3 thou. tons, which is 70% more than in the previous season (467.5 thou. tons), APK-Inform reports.

The shipments of this crop remain quite active and, according to the latest data, by the end of June, about 55 thou. tons of peas can be delivered to foreign markets. Thus, according to the results of the season, the total exports should reach 847 thou. tons, which is an absolute record.

In MY2017/18, the key importers of Ukrainian peas are India (43% of all supplies), Turkey (16%) and Pakistan (7%).
