Export of Ukrainian potato boosted 2.9 times in Jan-May

Ukraine in January-May 2018 exported 6.61 thou. tons of potatoes for the amount of USD 1.19 million, which is 4.27 thou. tons (USD 0.77 million) more than in the relevant period in the year 2017.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine reports that the key importers in the reporting period are as follows:

• Moldova — 5.93 thou. tons (USD 1.07 mln);
• Georgia — 0.29 thou. tons (USD 0.052 mln);
• Belarus — 0.27 thou. tons (USD 0.048 mln).

The key importers of Ukrainian potatoes in January-May 2017 are Belarus (USD 311 thou.), Moldova (USD 61 thou.) and Azerbaijan (USD 18 thou.). Exports to these countries amounted to 1.733 tons, 339,78 tons and 100,41 tons, respectively.
