19 regions of Ukraine harvested 4.7 million tons of grain

As of July 4, agrarians of 19 regions of Ukraine, where the harvesting campaign continues, have already brought in 4.7 million tons of new crop grain from 1.6 million hectares with a productivity of 2.93 t/ha.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that in Mykolayiv region 1 million tons of early grain were threshed from 359.1 thou. hectares and Odessa region — 1.3 million tons from 348.4 thou. hectares.

The volumes of harvested crops are as follows:

  • winter wheat — 2.58 million tons from 883.3 thou. hectares with the productivity of 2.92 t/ha;
  • spring wheat — 2.2 thou. tons from 0.8 thou. hectares with the productivity of 2.82 t/ha;
  • winter barley — 1.9 million tons from 578 thou. hectares with the productivity of 3.26 t/ha;
  • spring barley — 70.3 thou. tons from 36.9 thou. hectares with the productivity of 1.91 t/ha;
  • peas — 124.4 thou. tons from 92 thou. hectares with the productivity of 1.35 t/ha.

In 17 regions, winter rapeseed harvesting continues. This oilseed crop is threshed on the area of 251 thou. hectares (25% of the forecast), with a productivity of 2.02 t/ha. The harvest of winter rapeseed reached 505 thou. tons so far.
