Agro LV Limited handed agricultural machines to Lviv Agrarian University
The company Agro LV Limited, a structural division of Continental Farmers Group, handed over four agricultural machines for
educational purposes to Lviv National Agrarian University.
The equipment official transfer was held on July 17 at the main base of Agro LV Limited. Machines that are currently widely used
in agriculture were on the list: JCB telescopic loader, John Deere tractor, Kongskilde Wing Jet fertilizer spreader and Berthoud Maxxor sprayer.
From now on the students will be able to practice with modern machinery and thus decently compete in the human resources market.
"We believe that these machines will serve the students in good stead in mastering modern crop production technologies," says Andrea Bianco, Director of Agro LV Limited. "Many students of Lviv Agrarian University do internship with us presently. They have good theoretical knowledge but sometimes they lack practical skills, especially in dealing with modern machines. Therefore, we decided to technically assist the education."
According to the University Rector, Volodymyr Snitynskyi, both parties will benefit from such cooperation.
Almost 60 Lviv Agrarian University graduates have been employed in the agroholding. Moreover, 9 company employees are getting the higher professional education at this educational institution at present.
Mark Laird, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Farmers Group, pursuing the objective of supporting the agrarian educational sector emphasizes on people being the Company’s main value.
"We understand that it is the skilled employees who lead our business, and not just the machinery, which is worth nothing without them. Therefore, we invest in the intellectual capital and create proper conditions for the developing and training our experts," he notes.
