A new chips production to be launched in Ukraine

PepsiCo Ukraine considers the possibility of localization of production of potato chips under the TM Lay's, Interfax-Ukraine writes.

"To further meet the demand of consumers, PepsiCo Ukraine is working to improve output efficiency. Localization of production is one of such ways. Thus, we are studying and analyzing the Ukrainian agrarian sector, its potential," the company's press service reported.

PepsiCo produces Lay's potato chips in Poland.

Note: PepsiCo owns five enterprises in Ukraine — a plant for processing fruits, vegetables and juice production (Mykolaiv region), a factory for the production of juices, carbonated drinks and cold tea (Mykolaiv region), Kharkov Dairy Plant (Kharkov), Kyiv Dairy Plant (Kyiv region), where the baby food factory Agusha, launched in 2012, is also located.
