The National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine: 90 new elevators being built in Ukraine

According to the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS), about 90 new elevators are being built in Ukraine this year. Annually, the capacities grow by 1.5

 The total number of certified and working grain storages in Ukraine amounts to 800 units.

 "The increasing the volume of long-term investments in elevator capacity is evidence of investors' confidence in the right direction of national agricultural reforms," reports NNAS.

 Reference: as of July 2018, the total capacity of a one-time storage is about 46 million tons, which is 46% less than necessary.
