The new standard for wheat released

The Technical Committee for Standardization "Grain Crops and Products of their Processing" No. 170 published a draft of a new standard for wheat, GATS 3768: 201 "Wheat. Technical conditions." The standard is designed to replace the current national standard DSTU 3768: 2010, Elevatorist.com reports.

The standard was published on the website of the Institute of Grain Crops of NAAS of Ukraine on October 19, 2018.

The authors expect proposals from agrarians to improve it. The deadline for submitting comments is 60 calendar days from the date of posting.

Changes in the national standard for wheat will mainly concern updating methods for determining quality indicators based on international standards, adjusting the number of classes and specific indicators of wheat.
