Grain export 2018/19: Ukraine shipped 19 mln tons

Since the start of MY2018/19, as of December 5, Ukraine exported 19.05 mln tons of grain, which is 1.61 mln tons more than the indicator for the last year's comparative period.

According to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the volumes of exported crops are as follows:

• wheat — 9.46 million tons (0.66 mln tons less y-o-y);
• corn — 6.22 million tons (2.69 mln tons more y-o-y);
• barley — 3.02 million tons (0.71 mln tons less y-o-y);
• rye — 67.1 thou. tons.

According to the Annex 1 of the Memorandum of Understanding for MY2018/19, the remaining 6.9 mln tons of wheat will be exported from Ukraine.
