Ukraine significantly reduced flour exports in Jan-Nov

In January-November 2018, Ukraine exported 278.52 thou. tons of flour for the amount of USD 64.84 million, which is 32% (125.94 thou. tons) less than in the prior-year comparative period.

By the data of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFSU), Ukraine delivered to foreign markets 277 thou. tons (USD 64.08 million) of wheat flour and 1.51 thou. tons (USD 762 thou.) of other types of flour.

Wheat flour was exported to the following countries:

  • China — 72.58 thou. tons (USD 16.79 million);
  • Moldova — 33.19 thou. tons (USD 7.67 million);
  • Palestine — 31.52 thou. tons (USD 7.29 million).

Flour of other types was delivered to Slovenia (USD 213 thou.), Poland (USD 113 thou.), and Moldova (USD 105 thou.).

As it was previously reported, that in July-October 2018 the volume of flour production by large-scale enterprises of Ukraine amounted to 605 thou. tons, which is 15% lower than the relevant indicator of the previous season.
