Grain exports from Ukraine minimal over the past three seasons

Wheat exports from Ukraine in MY2018/19 are minimal for the past three seasons, UkrAgroConsult reports.

In five months of the current season (July-November), Ukraine exported 9.4 million tons of wheat, which is 6.4% less than in the previous year's comparative period — 10 million tons.

As in the past season, Indonesia remains the key market for Ukrainian wheat. The export rate in the reporting period increased by 14%.

During the indicated period, the Philippines imported 1.3 million tons of wheat from Ukraine, which is already 19% higher than imports for the entire past season and is a record volume in the history of purchases.

As previously reported, grain and leguminous crops stocks in Ukraine as of December 1, 2018, were 25.8% higher than on the same date in 2017.
