MHP poultry exports increased 62 pct in Q4 2018

In Q4 2018, the agro-industrial holding Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) increased sales of chicken meat by 62% to 72.929 tons (Q4 2017: 45.042 tons).

For the year 2018, chicken meat exports improved 30% to 286.846 tons year-on-year, following the strategy of increasing export sales in general and driven by significant exports in H2 2018 in particular, mainly to KSA, Slovakia, Iraq and the Netherlands.

Out of total poultry sales volumes, poultry exports in 12M 2018 constituted around 48% vs 41% in 12M 2017.

Annual sales of chicken meat increased by 11% to 593.527 tons.

Previously the company informed that MHP planned to increase by 40% the capacity of the mixed feed plant at the Vinnytsia Poultry Complex.
