Grain exports from Ukraine in 2018 approached 42 mln t

In the year 2018, Ukraine exported 41.67 million tons of grain crops, which is 0.4% less than 2017 shipments, Ports of Ukraine inform.

In monetary terms, export increased by 11.4% to USD 7.24 billion. The share of the commodity group in total exports in money terms amounted to 15.3%.

The volumes of exported crops are as follows:

• corn — 21.434 million tons (USD 3.506 billion);
• wheat — 16.37 million tons (USD 3 billion);
• barley — 3.59 million tons (USD 681.948 million).

As previously reported, the remaining amount of grain, which can be shipped from Ukraine before the end of the season, is 4.62 million tons.
