Grain Alliance started spring field works

Grain Alliance started the application of mineral fertilizers to prepare the soil for corn sowing in the fields of the Semenovka branch in Kyiv region.

Spring field works this year began earlier compared with 2018 (late March and early April). During the autumn-winter period, there was a sufficient amount of precipitation, which contributed to the adequate level of soil moisture.

“As of February 19th, the area of 270 hectares is ready. Later, it is planned to apply mineral fertilizers of the nitrogen group for planting soybeans and corn,” commented Andrey Yushchenko, the agronomist of the Kyiv branch.

AMAZONE ZG-TS 8200 is engaged in field works.

As previously reported, agrarians in separate districts of Kherson region started early crops sowing.
