Ukraine reduced 40 pct flour exports

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that Ukraine exported 172.5 thou. tons of flour by February 27th, 2019.

This figure is 115.6 thou. tons (40 pct) less than it was exported in last year's comparative period.

Since the start of MY2018/19, wheat flour shipments amount to 155.9 thou. tons, whereas other types of flour — 0.9 thou. tons.

In MY2017/18, flour exports reached 413 thou. tons.

IGC experts reduced the forecast for global wheat flour export in MY2018/19 by 1 million tons to 16.1 million tons as compared with the previous estimate.
