Ukrainian agri products exports to Poland surge

Ukraine and Poland consider the increase of the agricultural products turnover, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports.

On February 27th, the fifth meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish working group on agriculture was held in Warsaw.

The Polish party expressed confidence in continuing cooperation within the existing areas and in the readiness to establish new ones.

"Ukraine is ready to boost exports of meat and offal, vegetable oil, corn, rapeseed, fruit, nuts and citron, ready-made food products, etc.," the message says.

Last year, Ukraine exported products to Poland for the amount of USD 3.25 billion.

On January 28th of the current year, Polish farmers started protests and blocked roads in three voivodeships in Lodz (Łódź), Podlaskie and Wielkopolska (Wielkopolskie) with agricultural machinery.
