Pork exports from Ukraine in Jan-Mar reduced to 316 tons

In January-March 2019, Ukraine exported 316 tons of pork, 1.5x less from the prior year's comparative period. In monetary terms, deliveries dropped to USD 702 thou.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine informs that the main importers of Ukrainian pork in the indicated period are as follows:

• Vietnam — USD 269 thou.;
• the U.A.E. — USD 189 thou.;
• Hong Kong — USD 189 thou.

Exports to these countries amounted to 121 tons, 85 tons and 85 tons of pork, respectively.

In January-February 2019, exports of Ukrainian agricultural products increased by 24.4 pct y-o-y (USD 683 million) and amounted to USD 3.5 billion.
