Egg exports from Ukraine upsized 63 pct in Jan-Mar

In January-March 2019, 38.8 thou. tons of eggs were exported from Ukraine worth USD 35.9 million, 63% higher from the corresponding indicator in 2018.
By the data of the State Fiscal Sevice of Ukraine, the key importers are as follows:
- the U.A.E. — USD 10.1 million (10.9 thou. tons);
- Iraq — USD 8.9 million (9.7 thou. tons);
- Latvia — USD 3.4 million (3.7 thou. tons);
- others — USD 13.4 million (14.4 thou. tons).
According to the State Statistics Service, in 2018 Ukraine exported 107.5 thou. tons of eggs, 21% more than in 2017 (88.6 thou. tons).
