Flour trade volumes fall behind by 40 pct

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that Ukraine exported 224.5 thou. tons of flour by April 10th, 2019.

This figure is 140.7 thou. tons or 39 pct less than it was exported in last year's comparative period.

Since the start of MY2018/19, wheat flour shipments amount to 223.5 thou. tons, whereas other types of flour — 0.1 thou. tons.

In MY2017/18, flour exports reached 413 thou. tons.

In Q1 2019 (January 1, 2019 to March 31, 2019), Ukrainian companies exported 84.2 thou. tons of wheat flour, 23 per cent or 25.4 thou. tons less from the corresponding period of 2018 (109.6 thou. tons).
