Grain export 2018/19: corn deliveries up 10 million tons

Since the start of 2018/19, corn exports from Ukraine as of May 15th reached 25.5 million tons. This volume is 1.6x more than the indicator for the last year's comparative period (15.4 million tons). The Agrarian Ministry reports the following volumes of exported crops:

• wheat — 14.6 million tons (0.98 million tons less y-o-y);
• corn — 25.5 million tons (10.2 million tons more);
• barley — 3.4 million tons (0.77 million tons less);
• rye — 88 thou. tons (53 thou. tons more).

The gross value of agricultural production in 2019 is expected to reach UAH 258.6 billion, 3.7 per cent less from the previous year.
