Harvest Online 2019: wheat crop exceeded 27 million tons

By August 9th, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 9.5 million hectares or 95%. The crop reached 36.8 million tons.

Agrarians of Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovograd, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Poltava, Kharkiv and Zakarpattya regions have 100% completed harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

  • wheat — 27.1 million tons on 6.5 million hectares or 96% yielding 4.14 t/ha;
  • barley — 8.5 million tons on 2.5 million hectares or 96% yielding 3.41 t/ha;
  • peas — 587 thou. tons on 257 thou. hectares or 99% yielding 2.28 t/ha;
  • rye — 283 thou. tons on 103 thou. hectares or 88% yielding 2.76 t/ha;
  • oats — 303 thou. tons on 121 thou. hectares or 66% yielding 2.5 t/ha;
  • winter rapeseed — 3.1 million tons on 1.2 million hectares or 99% yielding of 2.46 t/ha.
