Nika-Tera updated its cargo transshipment record

Since the start 2019, the Sea Specialized Port Nika-Tera, a structural division of Group DF, handled 6 mln t of cargo, having reached a record volume of cargo transshipment.

"On September 23rd, 2019, for the first time in its history since the beginning of the calendar year, the port reached a transshipment volume of 6 mln t. This volume exceeded the record-breaking transshipment for the whole of 2018, which amounted to 5.84 mln t," the report says.

For the second year in a row, Nika-Tera has been updating its records, demonstrating stable growth rates of cargo turnover, the company says is a statement.

In August 2019, cargo turnover at the SSP Nika-Tera reached 965 thou. t. This indicator exceeded the previous absolute record of monthly transshipment set in November 2018 by 123 thou. t or 12.7%.
