Harvest Online 2019: grains yielded 45 mln t

As of September 25th, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 11 mln ha or 72% of the total. The crop reached 44.5 mln t using the average yield of 4.06 t/ha (2018: 3.61 t/ha).

By the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

  • buckwheat — 70 thou. t on 53 thou. ha or 78%;
  • millet — 136 thou. t on 73 thou. ha or 81%;
  • corn — 4.7 mln t on 793 thou. ha or 16%;
  • soybean — 1.7 mln t on 742 thou. ha or 47% yielding 2.3 t/ha;
  • sunflower — 9.2 mln t on 4 mln ha or 69%;
  • sugar beet — 1.5 mln t on 32 thou. ha or 15% yielding 45 t/ha.
