Harvest Online 2019: grains 79% cropped

As of October 10th, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 12.1 mln ha or 79% of the total. The crop reached 51.9 mln t using the average yield of 4.29 t/ha (2018: 3.88 t/ha).

By the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

  • buckwheat — 80 thou. t on 60 thou. ha or 89%, 1.33 t/ha;
  • millet — 147 thou. t on 79 thou. ha or 87%, 1.87 t/ha;
  • corn — 12.1 mln t on 1.9 mln ha or 38%, 6.34 t/ha;
  • soybean — 2.8 mln t on 1.2 mln ha or 76%, 2.35 t/ha;
  • sunflower — 12.3 mln t on 5.1 mln ha or 88%, 2.39 t/ha;
  • sugar beet — 3.8 mln t on 87 thou. ha or 40%, 44.1 t/ha.
