Soybean oil production in Ukraine: key processing facilities in 2018/19

In 2018/19, the MHP subsidiary, Katerynopilsky elevator, produced the largest volume of soybean oil in Ukraine, the Ukroilprom Association reports.

The TOP 5 producers of the product in the reporting period are as followed:

1. Katerynopilsky elevator (MHP) — 17.8% share in the total production;
2. Globyno Processing Plant (Astarta-Kyiv) — 15.1%;
3. Pology Oil Extraction Plant — 12.1%;
4. Transpostach — 9.6%;
5. Vinnytsya OFP (ViOil) — 8.9%.

In 2018, Ukrainian agricultural producers received the average profitability of sunflower and soybean production at a 5-year minimum level — 32.5% and 21%, respectively.
