Sugar plants in Ukraine processed 4.6 mln t of sugar beet

As of October 23rd, plants in Ukraine produced 661.9 thou. t of sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.

4.55 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants started beet sugar production season.

As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.
