Beet sugar output crossed 768 thou. t

As of October 28th, plants in Ukraine produced 768.2 thou. t of sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.
5.25 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants started beet sugar production season.
As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.
Previously reported that 7 mln t of sugar beet were harvested on 160 thou. ha or 73% of the total areas by October 28th. The average yield stood at 43.8 t/ha.
