One of sugar beet processing plants in Ukraine failed to start the season

As of November 15th, plants in Ukraine produced 1.099 mln t of sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.
7.39 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants started beet sugar production season.
As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.
By November 14th, harvesting of sugar beet reached 8.4 mln t on 192 thou. ha. The crop is harvested using the average yield of 44 t/ha.
