Upward trend dominates Ukrainian flour sales

Flour export from Ukraine since the start of 2019/20 has reached 218.9 thou. t, 76.5 thou. t (54%) more from the prior year's comparative indicator, 142.4 thou. t.

The information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports that by Jan. 29 exports reached the following indicators:

  • wheat flour — 217.7 thou. t (up 76.1 thou. t from the comparative period of 2018/19);
  • other types of flour — 1.2 thou. t (up 0.4 thou. t).

Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thou. t vs. 413 thou. t in 2017/18.

Previously reported that since the start of 2019/20, staple grains export from Ukraine has reached 35.74 mln t vs. 27.3 mln t in the prior season's relevant period. As of Jan. 29, commodities shipment increased by 7.44 mln t from the comparative period of the previous year.
