Bunge sustained USD 1.3 bln loss in 2019

For the year 2019, Bunge received USD 1.28 bln of net loss vs. USD 267 mln of net income in 2018.
The company's net income in Q4 2019 reduced by USD 14 mln to USD 51 mln (Q4 2018: USD 65 mln).
Net loss per common share in 2019 stood at USD 9.34 (2018: USD 2.72 of net income).
Total Segment EBIT reached USD 1.123 bln, 27% higher YoY (USD 881 mln). In Q4 2019 this indicator increased 2.6x to USD 283 mln.
Grains Segment EBIT grew by 1.8x to USD 229 mln, Oilseeds dropped 30% to USD 410 mln. Sugar Segment EBIT in 2019 increased to USD 73 mln vs. USD –105 mln in 2018. Fertilizer Segment EBIT improved 31% to USD 55 mln.
Previously reported that in the year 2019, Dnipropetrovsk Oil Extraction Plant, Bunge subsidiary, domineered refined sunflower oil production. The facility's market share reached 16.1%.
