Flour supply 30% higher YoY

Since the start of 2019/20, flour export shipment from Ukraine has reached 278.3 thou. t, 64.3 thou. t (30%) more from the prior year's comparative indicator.
The information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports that by Apr. 8 exports reached the following indicators:
- wheat flour — 276.7 thou. t (up 63.7 thou. t from the comparative period of 2018/19);
- other types of flour — 1.6 thou. t (up 0.6 thou. t).
Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thou. t vs. 413 thou. t in 2017/18.
By 2025 the volume of world flour consumption may increase by about 20 mln t compared to the current level and reach apx. 400 mln t.
As of Apr. 8, agricultural commodities shipment from Ukraine increased by 8.27 mln t (21.3%) from the prior year's comparative period.
