Parliament rejected all land market law blocking resolutions

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Parliament) rejected 13 draft resolutions to cancel the decision of March 31, 2020, on the adoption of the draft law No. 2178-10 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Turnover of Agricultural Land" in the second reading.

After the rejection of the resolutions by the Parliament, the signing of the law was unblocked for the Speaker Dmytro Razumkov and for President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The first resolutions attempting to block the law were registered on March 31, the day of the adoption of the draft law on land market in Ukraine.
